(You'll find English text for this entry some lines bellow ...)

ENGLISH:

At the request of many users I have just finished the translation of C64 Kickass IDE to English language.

For those who did not know, I tell you that this environment was created with the idea of providing a starting point to follow the examples of programs that may appear in the spanish assembler course "Ensamblalo!" (Published in this blog). To my own surprise, even though I already managed to work perfectly with Ultraedit-32, watching the extras offered me Kickass IDE itself I ended up using it to do my stuff with the c64. As a result, the last thing I did with it was the demo "Robot Nation" and I felt extremely comfortable working with several files from the project window thanks to my new IDE.

As it's the same environment that I will use to develop my upcoming games for C64, I decided to release it under the seal of Revive to distinguish the fact that one is more designed to learn from the (spanish) course, and the other has a global, more international scope.

The fact is that throughout this year, since the release of the IDE in Spanish, I have received requests from kickassembler users, English speakers, informing me that they would love to use it but not knowing Spanish were left disappointed.
Also a friend of mine (Spanish), asked if I had thought of translating it, told me that he is more comfortable using these programs in English.

It seems crazy, but it's very logical (I also do) as the material for learning these things have been found, for many years, mostly in English.

So, blessed are those who had asked that, because in a record time (two intensive evenings) I decided to translate the IDE once and for all, and here it is, ready for download:

Any translation error or errata you find, do not hesitate to contact me for correction (although I know some English, it's not my native language). Any comments would be appreciated.

Enjoy!

Awesome, thanks for translating it, this is great for who is not comfortable with Castellano. I might one day do a retro computer architecture workshop using this IDE. If anyone knows how to make this portable for public computer labs, that would be the icing on the cake. Thanks.
